Rules of Civility

Amor Towles has written an impressive novel in RULES OF CIVILITY but ... his work is far from perfect.

It is not often I read recent fiction, but because I love the 1930s and this book had so many good reviews, I decided to pick it up. At the start it took me a while to get used to the writing style as I've gotten used to late 19th century and early 20th century books (blame the literature courses I've been taking at university this year), but once I had gotten used to the many conversations and thoughts described in this book, I ended up really liking it.

A really great read, clever, fast, and fun!.
